Scott Mateer

Scott began his music career as a young DJ, spinning at local clubs and venues in South Central Pennsylvania. As his passion for music grew, so did his repertoire, skills, experience, and education in the field. Scott’s formal education from Penn State University concentrated on improving the overall DJ experience as he earned his Bachelors of Communication degree. Scott has DJ’d more than 2,000 custom parties, each uniquely tailored to suit the client’s needs. His primary focus and philosophy is to make the event a memorable one through music centered solely on you and your guests.

As a talented DJ, Scott has the innate ability to read the crowd and adapt appropriately using his organized and detailed library. His timing is unparallel. He knows what to play and when to play the selections. There is no formula for timing; it is Scott’s vast experience that gives him his edge.

Professionalism is at the forefront of Scott‘s experience for your celebration. To show respect to all of your guests, Scott uses clean versions of songs so that all ages can enjoy the event. Music makes your party a success and Scott knows how to use music to take it to the next level for the guests.

Scott provides “peace of mind.“ You never have to worry about who is coming to your party – Scott does not subcontract his shows. Scott is the DJ you meet, list your expectations, and hire. You’ve hired Scott – Scott is the one who will see you through from start to finish.

Scott’s fee schedule is very fair as you are only charged for the time he is playing at the event. There is no charge for his set-up and tear-down time. His fee range is between $100 to $250 an hour with most parties in the $175 per hour category. Depending on the event, Scott’s fees are negotiable. Consultations with Scott are always free.
